Plank Grating O2

F960000100

Steel

Safety gratings Type O2™ are applied where high demands for slip resistance and weight is required. The closely spaced holes forms an even and transparent surface and gives the safety gratings an optimal strength/weight ratio. Gratings Type O2™ are produced in different dimensions and profiles.

PcP OPTIMO O2 Grating

The PcP OPTIMO grating O2 is a safety grating or metal sheet made of 2 mm (type O2) steel. The surface of the OPTIMO O2 grating is highly slip-resistant thanks to the patented surface structure. The flared round perforation of OPTIMO O2 gratings with hole Ø 9/5 mm enables a high level of safety for the user.

PcP's safety grating OPTIMO O2™ is characterised by it's 9 mm diameter punched and 5 mm diameter drainage holes in a square pattern in 2 mm material. Type O2™ gratings apply in all sectors of an industrial and residential building, where there are high requirements of slip resistance and weight. The density of holes provides an even surface with low visual transparency. The punched and drainage holes give the profile an unsurpassed high Strength to weight ratio. We can manufacture OPTIMO O2 gratings and planks Type O2 in a wide variety of combinations concerning width, height, length and profile forms.

Slip resistance R13/V10

The slip resistance has been tested by the IFA Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance and certified with the classification according to slip resistance R13 and the displacement space V10 (BGR 181). The test complies to DIN 51130.

PcP Metal profile gratings OPTIMO O2 are constructed by welding individual steel panels together. By combining panels, you get several advantages, for instance:

  • Excellent static values due to the load transfer from the neighbouring panels
  • No screwing of individual panels
  • Short assembly times

Installing OPTIMO O2 gratings in large areas

For large areas, assign the individual grating by numbering the process according to the installation plan.

Depending on the structural requirements, the individual panels are U-profiles or, for higher loads, C-profiles in different heights. For every project, we verify the proof of the load-bearing with static calculations provided for your project and generally corresponded to the load requirements from EN DIN 14122 Part 2. Other load requirements should be part of the project planning or in your criteria when you request your project. This way,  our experts can provide you with an optimal offer in terms of material and price to be able to.
